You should also familiarize yourself with North Carolina's Offer to Purchase. Both the North Carolina Association of Realtors and the North Carolina Bar Association approve it. There are several areas of the offer to purchase that you should be especially aware of during negotiations - dates, earnest money, loan information, and interest rates. Date deadlines for such things as home inspections, repairs, and loan approval should be reasonably set to allow compliance. NC real estate forms are ammended annually on July 1 and a grace period of 60 days is normally allowed to begin use. |
