Trump National Charlotte, formerly The Point, a resort community on Lake Norman is a 1,200-acre community with 18 miles of shoreline off Brawley School Road in Mooresville. A Greg Norman-designed golf course, of the 18 holes, 13 play along the lake. The community’s Tavern overlooks the 18th hole.
Mooresville Golf Course provides both short and long-game challenges and appeals to all skill levels. Donald Ross designed front nine and a Porter Gibson back nine. Even though this course is not on the water, it still offers plenty of water hazards and tree-lined fairways.
Mallard Head Country Club is conveniently located on the shores of Lake Norman in southern Iredell County. This bent grass course designed by George Cobb and opened in 1979. Well treed with water in play many times throughout the course. Well manicured greens.
